Travel is about the experience

As long as I can remember, travel has been a part of my life. My mother and aunt were flight attendants in the earlier years of their lives and were always talking about the travels to Europe. One thing that stuck with me was their discription of tourists they witnessed in some of the world's most iconic cities. Inevitably, they seemed to always run into the old couple who begrudgingly pushed through an experinece of a lifetime seemingly burdened more with joint pains rather than captivated by the magnificent sights around them. I was blessed to have experienced various cruises and trips throughout the U.S. at a young age. A trend that only accelerated when I joined the U.S. Navy at 18 years of age. With over 40 countries now under my belt (of those I can remember) I can accurately say several things. First, each place you visit has a unique value to offer in cultural perspective as well as scenic appeal. Some are more hidden gems than others, but given enough time, a seasoned traveler can find some amazing things, even off the beaten paths of premiere travel destinations. Secondly, there is seldom time or money aligned to appreciate our destinations for all that they are. Finally, if you want to get the most out of your travel years, don't make a bucket list for "someday" because once time and money do cooperate, there is a good chance that your body will not. That is why my wife and I wanted to start a travel business. It is a passion to see life's greatest moments unfold in the midst of life and helping people not wait for the end to try to cram it all in. Regardless of your budget, I encourage you to take a few moments to consider what life is really meant to be. My best moments have always been when I have freinds and/or family gathered away from life's other cares that culminate in memories that last. Maybe the same is true for you, but only the experience , not time, can tell.
